Ten Hag name to join Potter pops up on Ajax list.

Erik ten Hag is include in the hunt for a new Ajax manager, joining Graham Potter in the three-man list.

The Dutchman left the Amsterdam giants in 2022 to take over at Manchester United, but his second season at Old Trafford has left his future uncertain.

At Ajax, he received critical acclaim for his role in shaping the 2018-19 team, which won the hearts of fans. It was like a fairy tale to reach the semi-finals. Champions League By defeating teams like Real Madrid and Juventus along the way.

Although United are seen as having a poor season in sixth place, Ten Hag is said to be still interest in his former club.

Dutch outlet UFABET report that Ten Hag, former Chelsea manager Potter and Nice manager Francesco Farioli are all being consider as candidates for the position.

Ajax, which has always been the country’s leading team. But this season they have to find themselves in 5th place, 35 points behind PSV.

Under Ten Hag, Ajax won 159 of 215 matches and left the club with an average of 2.34 points per game.

He led the team to three Eredivisie titles, two Dutch Cups and the Dutch Super Cup.

Potter joins Ten Hag on the shortlist as per the report, and is still to join a new club since being sack by Chelsea midway through last season. 

The ex-Brighton boss has been link with the Dutch side a number of times, with reports suggesting he had turned down the position  earlier this month. 

UFABET report that the former Chelsea and Brighton boss had held talks with the struggling Dutch giants earlier this month. Though at that stage he was believe to be keeping his options open.
